Over the past week I’ve been visiting my girl in NYC. We’ve been to 3 museums, a ton of diners, and countless subway rides. Unfortunately I have to leave Sunday, I’m not looking forward to that at all. But I am very anxious about finishing up the rest of my css lessons and knocking out those c++ lessons.

Right now I’m laying on the bed with mariam by my side. I can’t wait to actually live here with her, that’s really what we both need. I’m just hoping and praying that I get a good paying job so we can live comfortably here without many problems. It’s going to be a hectic 6 weeks, but I am relaxed, happy, and ready to finish everything I’ve started.

This one caught my eye when I saw it in the space subreddit this morning. A couple hours later I noticed another link in the space subreddit with the same story. Finally a little while after that I found ANOTHER link to a different website with the same story in the same subreddit! Tonight I think I’m going to write up a report on the little nuances between the three articles. I’m actually kind of excited about writing a report…wtf? Oh well, links to follow.

First off, how is spicy chili supposed to combat summer heat? You would think that the spiciest chili in the world wouldn’t be eating during the hottest season. Ah and they’re even researching ways to make this shit into pepper spray for the ladies. I really don’t want to be on the receiving end of this stuff.

Apparently some time ago there were photos released by NASA that made people think there was a human-like figure on the surface of Mars. As it turns out though, this female figure has more of a rocking body than we thought! So unfortunately, the search for life elsewhere in the universe weathers yet another failed attempt. Apparently several bloggers and other enthusiasts were claiming this rock to be a human, since we all know that humans have perfected the ability to travel to space and breathe in an environment full of carbon dioxide. Then again I guess I can’t really blame people, even scientists sometimes claim things that turn out to be false. Hell, people believed the earth was flat until Galileo…well you know what he did.

I recently started doing mashup music work and have done a little bit of work molding Still Dre and Loser. It’s a different mix and people either like it or don’t, but I guess that’s just people having different tastes than I, which I can live with. I also registered for a soundcloud account and uploaded the song there.

I downloaded the GoldenEye source mod beta 4 this morning. Or at least I thought I did, when it got done I realized I had downloaded the OST (original soundtrack). Found this little gem in there.

I couldn’t tell you how much I used this thing while writing my next article. This is a web highlighter extension for chrome that allows you to highlight some text in the page you are viewing. The app requires you to be a user of diigo, and requires you to login. Then it sends all of your highlighting to a profile page. It’s pretty cool, easy to use, I’m just worried because I highlight a lot. That means that my “page” is filled with little quips that don’t really make sense when taken out of context, as seen on my highlight feed of the fazoli’s wikipedia.

In early November, I realized that in order to have a future, I had to stop trying to “learn” and just get out there and start doing. So I did. I got a host, a domain, and a blog. I’m going to be outlining my journey into web development and programming all on this blog. Soon I will begin work on a front page, but for the time being, the blog is all I’ll have. I’ll also summarize how I do most of my work so hopefully beginners like myself will get the inspiration they need to start doing. My theme write-up will be up soon.
